* * BAND REUNION 2008 * * The next Alumni Reunion to be held Saturday, August 2nd from 6pm-10pm at the VFW on Bethel Rd in Somers Point. Anyone interested in attending should contact Lisa (Blazej) Erlandson via email and forward your check for $30 per person, payable to MAINLAND BAND REUNION, to Debbie (DeAngelis) Battisti at 100 Iona Ave, Linwood, NJ 08221. All reservations must be received a.s.a.p. The evening will be a casual night of fun and reminiscing and will include a buffet dinner and cash bar. Entertainment will be provided by a live band -- anyone currently playing in the professional music realm is encouraged to bring your instrument, as all alumni are welcome to sit-in for a tune or two during the evening. Additionally, a slide show will be presented during the evening and anyone with photos that they would like included is asked to email them to Kristina Schuman. * * ATLANTIC POPS BAND * * The Atlantic Pops Community Band is currently accepting new members, with no audition(s) ... The band is open to anyone who still has a desire to play. And, please don't be intimidated if you haven't played in years! It's like riding a bike ... you never forget how! Band rehearsals are conducted at the Egg Harbor Twp High School twice a month, on Tuesday Evenings at 7pm sharp. We'd love for you to come sit-in with us!
