The 2003 Mainland Band Alumni Reunion was held on July 26th at Mac's Restaurant in Somers Point, NJ ... and it was a whole lot of fun! We had a full evening of activities & socializing ... hors d'oeuvres & cocktails began at 6pm ... dinner was served shortly after 7pm ... we distributed various award certificates; for the longest & shortest travellers, the earliest & most recent graduates in attendance, and one for the longest-running involvement with the band ... there were door prizes & a 50/50 ... and the display areas were a big hit, which included field show videos from over the years. Everyone seemed to have a great time and are already looking forward to the 'next' reunion! |

AND, to anyone who took photos at the reunion, we'd love to get copies for the website ... please feel free to email electronic copies to us, or we can scan your originals and add them to the collection.... Last but not least, the general consensus of those in attendance at the 2003 reunion was to try to have a reunion every 5 years. So, we'll be planning another reunion in the future! Hope to see everyone then. |
