Ted was a loving father of 3 girls; Beth Ann, Debra Jean and Joan Marie, and he was a respected band booster for 8 years. If his girls were at a competition, he was there. A very dedicated Father and friend, he enjoyed the Mainland Band with his kids. This website was originated as his children were reaching out to find their old friends, at the time of his passing, and it has helped greatly knowing that people he knew and enjoyed are now helping his kids deal with the aftermath of his death...

DeANGELIS, THEODORE (TED), 63, of Linwood, passed away at home on Thursday, January 30, 2003. Ted was retired from a lifetime job at McAllister Fuels as a Sales Representative, and was enjoying his family, and his Corvette hobby. He is remembered as the "Corvette Man".

Ted was born in Ventnor, played basketball and was a former Ventnor lifeguard. He loved fishing, and water skiing, and spent the last few years watching his grandchildren play basketball and swim.

Ted was a beloved father and friend, and is survived by three loving daughters and their families, Beth Ann and Brian McNellis of Egg Harbor Twp, Debbie and Mark Battisti of Linwood, and Joan Marie and Robe Giovanelli of Northfield. He has six grandchildren; Mark, Casey, Nicholas, Morgan, Christopher and Brianna. Ted also helped raise two step daughters; Deanna Seyler and Suzanne J. Stuhl, both of California. Ted's soul-mate, Gayle DeAngelis Collins, will miss him dearly. He is also survived by his mother, Josephine DeAngelis, of Ventnor; a brother, Seth Coleman, of Ventnor; and a sister, Jill Hagan, of Costa Rica.

Funeral services will be held at 11am Monday, February 3rd, at the George H. Wimburg Funeral Home, 1707 New Road (Rte 9) in Linwood. Friends may call at the Funeral Home Monday from 9am to the time of the services. Burial will follow at the Laurel Memorial Park in Pomona. Contributions in his memory may be made to St. Katharine Drexel Building Fund, 6075 West Jersey Avenue, Egg Harbor Twp, NJ  08234.
